What is your job title? What do you do, day to day?
I’m Robert Ryan Catering & Design’s operations manager. My job includes tasks such as preparing venues for the upcoming events, including all the equipment and supplies that are necessary to run a successful event.

Where did you grow up? What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I grew up in Philadelphia. When I was a kid, like most young boys, I always dreamt of being a professional athlete. Challenging myself physically has always been a passion of mine, whether it was on the football field, ice hockey rink or baseball field — that’s where I felt as though I always excelled.
What do you love most about your job?
The part that I love most about my job is the coworkers I am surrounded by on a daily basis. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They have made me feel welcome since day one! We’re all working toward the same goal: to provide our clients with lifelong memories. The task is that much easier when you’re surrounded by coworkers who help each other as much as our employees do.
Tell us something about yourself that no one would know just by looking at you.
Something that no one would know just by looking at me is that I was a college ice hockey player, and also was recruited out of my junior hockey team to play prep school hockey in Connecticut.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
Outside of work I like to do a lot of physical activities, like taking my dog, Riley, on hikes, or hitting the gym to strength train.
What would be your desert island last meal?
Cheese pizza!
